SPARK Columbus: Amit Patel

Amit Patel was raised in Columbus.  After college and grad school, he opened the Dental Solutions practice with a partner. Then he razed the Knights Inn - which his family operated for many years - to build the new La Quinta Inn & Suites.  Next, he co-developed the Jimmy John's franchise restaurant.  He has added to his holdings a private equity firm, multiple hotels, a second sandwich shop, and a Smashburger, the first in Indiana, in Hamilton County.

Amit Patel is 33 years old.
