- Have your forklift operators been properly trained to drive a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT)?
- Do you have the proper paperwork to show they have been trained? Here is your opportunity for your drivers to receive the classroom portion of this training.
- Materials will be provided to conduct the drive evaluation, including a PIT license.
- Employers must ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in 29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1).
