SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting with Columbus Museum of Art & Design
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we celebrate 50 years with the Columbus Museum of Art with a ribbon-cutting.\n\n\n\nThe fall of 2024 marks the Columbus Museum of Art & Design's 50th year\, having started September 22\, 1974 on the second floor of the Visitors Center\, and also having presented an art gallery at the Commons from 1993 to 2006.\n\n \n\nJune 2024 marks 10 years since the installation of Modern Totem by local sculptor Martin Beach\, a joint project with the Arts Council. And importantly\, October 10\, 2014 the ground-breaking CMAD-supported exhibit 100 Variations by Jonathan Nesci\, curated by Christopher West\, opened at First Christian Church.\n\n \n\nAs we celebrate these significant milestones and create new projects Round and Around at Youth Camp and JazzIN:Columbus free downtown Jazz Concert Series\, we collaborate to achieve our objectives.
