She has been in this role since February 2013.   Kathy's work involves education\, economic growth\, workforce development\, and quality of life initiatives. \n\n \n\nPrior to her current role\, Kathy worked for Cummins Inc. for 22 years. She joined Cummins in 1986 as an Industrial Engineer and held various roles in Material Planning and Inventory Control\, Manufacturing\, Aftermarket Marketing\, Service Products and eBusiness.  Her last role with Cummins was as Marketing and Sales Functional Excellence Leader for the Engine Business.\n\n \n\nKathy currently serves on several boards and councils including: Ivy Tech Board of Trustees\, United Way of Bartholomew County Board of Directors\, Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce\, Greater Columbus Indiana Economic Development Board\, Council for Youth Development\, IUPUC Division of Nursing Advisory Council\, Southeast Indiana Workforce Investment Board\, and East Indiana Area Health Education Center Board.\n\n \n\nKathy received her BS degree from Purdue University in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from Indiana University at IUPUI.  Kathy and her husband Dan have three grown sons and a daughter-in-law.\n\n\n\nCash bar hosted by Upland Brewing Company.
